I agree with you on the pasta part. Our bunco group served that way too much. I've done a tea party type food. Scones, tea sandwiches like cucumber, egg salad, chicken salad, tuna, salad, fruit & dessert. I've done a baked potato bar with all the fixings including chilli. I've also done the taco bar as well.
